The car seat is equipped with Isofix Connect System - this offersenhanced safety and greater stability in both groups. Test standard and group Isis-Fix: ECE R44/04, Group 1approx. 9 months - 4 years (9 - 18 kg) Free-Fix: ECE R44/04, Group 2/3approx. 3 years - 12 years (15 - 36 kg) SIMPLY ULTRA LIGHT The userfriendly and extremely light Isis car seat is especially suitable for frequentcar changes, thus also being ideal as a spare seat. A double-walled safetysystem provides additional safety by optimally absorbing the forces triggeredin a collision. 2 SEATS IN 1 Afterremoving the safety cushion and the base at the age of approximately 3 years(15 kg), the child safety seat converts into the award-winning CYBEX Free-fix(Gr. II/III), offering a usability of up to 11 years. ADJUSTABLE SAFETY CUSHION FORMAXIMUM PROTECTION CYBEXIsis-fix car seat offers an excellent degree of safety thanks to the newadjustable safety cushion for Gr. I, providing optimum protection withoutrestricting the child. The newly designed safety cushion (patent pending)adjusts forwards and backwards and offers more freedom of movement of the upperbody as well as maximum safety especially in front impacts when compared toconventional forward facing five-point harness systems. Similar to an airbag,the forces of a collision are distributed over the safety cushion and reducedby its impact absorbing materials. The belt does not injure the child while atthe same time his or her sensitive neck and shoulder area is protected. ISOFIX CONNECT The ISOFIXConnect system offers enhanced safety and greater stability in both groups. Theseat's connectors simply snap into the vehicle's ISOFIX anchorage points. Theconnectors can be easily folded away making the child seat compatible also withcars not equipped with ISOFIX.
