Manufacturer's Information: Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1999-2015 Islay Whisky 0,7 L Single Malt Whisky, Distillers Edition 2015, 43% Vol. Der Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1999-2015 ist ein Single Malt Whisky der bekannten schottischen Lagavulin Distillery. Dabei wurde der im Geschmack als süßlich, ergänzt durch einen grasigen Malzton und torfigen Noten, zu beschreibende Lagavulin im Jahr 1999 destilliert und reifte dann über viele Jahre ganz normal in Bourbon-Fässern. Die finale Nachreifung erfolgt dann in spanischen Sherry-Fässern von Pedro Ximenez, wobei gerade dieses Finish für den besonderen Geschmack des Lagavulin Distillers Edition 1999-2015 sorgt. Im Abgang ist der Lagavulin 1999-2015 lang und warm, dabei sehr kraftvoll, fruchtig und torfig. Im Punkto Duft sind Torf, Vanille und geröstetes Malz besonders prägnant. Mit dem Lagavulin 1999-2015 ist der Lagavulin Distillery von der Insel Isle of Islay, die im wirtschaftlichen Bereich durch die Whiskyindustrie dominiert wird, erneut eine herausragende Abfüllung gelungen.
