Dieser Fruchtlikör mit Apfelgeschmack liegt im Trend und lässt sich mit dem Sour Apple Pucker von der Brennerei De Kuyper aus Holland vergleichen. Kennzeichnend für den raffinierten De Kuyper Sour Apple Likör mit der passenden Farbe von Grün ist, dass er sich weitaus weniger süß gibt, als man dies eigentlich von der Spirituosenkategorie der Liköre gewöhnt ist. Der saure Apfellikör der alteingesessenen und weltbekannten Destillerie De Kuyper aus den Niederlanden ist in dieser Hinsicht mit den Geschmacksrichtungen Sour Grapefruit und Sour Rhubarb vergleichbar und hebt die Stimmung. Für den hochwertigen De Kuyper Sour Apple kommen natürliche Zutaten statt künstliche Aromen und unerwünschte Zusatzstoffe zum Einsatz. Das trifft auch auf die vielen anderen Fruchtliköre des Herstellers zu. Man hat sich auf die allseits bekannte und beliebte saure Apfelsorte Granny Smith verlassen. Um den Likör nicht zu sauer zu machen und eine natürlich süße Balance zu finden, wurden feine Apfeldestillate bzw. Konzentrate aus anderen Apfelsorten hinzugefügt.
